When Angell's Bar & Grill first opened in 1981, they wowed Boise patrons with menu items one could only find in the finer restaurants of a large metropolitan city.  Today, some 26 years later, Angell's has become a mainstay among savvy Boise diners as they continue to enjoy a menu that offers a sophisticated selection of current trends, such as their famous Cantonese Chicken Salad, Sesame Crusted Ahi and the Sun Valley Filet.

Owner Curt Knipe brings a lifetime of food experience to his establishment.  Over the past 26 years, Curt has developed the uncanny knack of learning from his customers and converting that knowledge into ever-evolving and successful menu items.

Signature dishes include their Sesame Crusted Ahi which is seared to your specification with a sesame crust, served with pickled ginger, wasabi mustard and soy sauce.  The Sun Valley Filet is a choice filet (every steak is hand cut) stuffed with mushrooms, blue cheese and fresh garlic butter topped off with sautéed mushrooms giving you a melt-in-your-mouth taste sensation.

With all of the restaurant offerings, you can be assured of the perfect paring from the bar.  Angell’s has one of the best wine selections in the city with more than 85 wines to choose from.  They also shake some of the best martinis and offer unique house features.

Angell’s serves lunch Tuesday thru Friday from 11:30 am and dinner Monday thru Sunday from 5:00 pm.
